It is our great pleasure to invite you to join us for the 6th IEEE International Conference on Electrical Materials and Power Equipment (ICEMPE 2027), which will provide an important forum for the international academic and engineering community in the field of electrical materials and power equipment.

ICEMPE 2027 will be held in Tianjin, China, from April 9th to 12th, 2027. ICEMPE is an extension of the National Conference on Engineering Dielectrics (NCED) in China. Since its establishment as an international conference, ICEMPE has been successfully held in Xi’an in 2017, Guangzhou in 2019, Chongqing in 2021, Shanghai in 2023, and Harbin in 2025, respectively. ICEMPE 2027 will continue this successful tradition as the 6th conference of the series.

The scientific research and technological development of electrical engineering are facing new opportunities and challenges, particularly with the rapid development of renewable energy, advanced power equipment, and emerging electrical insulation technologies. In the area of dielectrics and electrical insulation, increasing attention has been paid to eco-friendly dielectrics, recyclable insulating materials, nanodielectrics, superconducting techniques, and insulation phenomena under complex operating environments. Meanwhile, the internationalization of the power equipment industry has created a growing demand for closer interaction between academics, engineers, manufacturers, and industry experts worldwide. ICEMPE 2027 aims to provide an international platform for exchanging the latest research achievements, discussing technical challenges, and promoting collaboration in electrical materials and power equipment.
